Turtle Trainer is a short illustrated novella printed in the format of a 1973 issue of a pulp magazine called Blue Lotus. It’s part of a series of world-building fiction. set in the world of Global Anthropological Society (GAS). GAS is an alternate history world-building project which imagines a world in which consulting Anthropologists has become mandatory for most organisations since 9/11. The first book in the series It Happened Here was published in May 2023. I am also currently working on a novel called Hot Air which will be set in the same strange universe!
